Leaf Art

By Andrea Stevens

Take a sheet of construction paper and place a leaf on it. Set it in the sun (inside or out) for around three hours. What a neat picture you have made!

Older kids like to take favorite toys and see what shape they leave on the paper. This can make for a one-of-a-kind matching game. It also helps introduce the concept of negative space.
