Mike enjoys cooking and trying new recipes. One of his specialties is fried zucchini. “Basically its just zucchini sliced, put in a pan with a little bit of olive oil, and I put basil on mine,” he says. “I also fry squash, potatoes, corn and carrots. It tastes really good when it is done.”

Kim agrees. “Mike is an excellent cook. He can just put things together and make it taste good. My personal favorite is his fried zucchini and squash. Krystal likes his pancakes. He does make good soup from scratch though too. He made a really good green bean soup from scratch once that was the best I have ever had.”

Mike’s favorite author is Kafka. “In fact, that is what we named our dog,” he says. “My favorite book has got to be The Catcher in the Rye.”
