Dana Chidekel received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Chidekel is the author of the parenting book Parents in Charge: Setting Healthy, Loving Boundaries for You and Your Child. She works in private practice assessing and treating babies, children, adolescents and adults, specializing in helping parents with young children. She speaks on a variety of child-and-parent-related topics to both professional and parents on the subject of toilet training, self-esteem, overscheduling young children, kindergarten readiness, and the diagnosis and treatment of ADD. Chidekel is a a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology. She lives near Los Angeles with her husband and two children. | |
