Fred S. Ferguson, D.D.S. graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1973. After completing his residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Conneticut in 1975, he joined the Deparment of Children's Dentistry at SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Currently, he is professor of pediatric dentistry and associate professor of the department of Pediatric Medicine at University Hospital. He is the director of the Craniofacial Cleft Palate Center and the Dental Care for the Developmentally Disabled Program. Ferguson is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and an associate member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has authored many papers and speaks nationally.
